|  Civil status | The certificates of civil status are delivered by the town hall of the birthplace.
Copy with filiation and copy of birth certificate Delivered to the demanding persons, their parents, their over 18 children on the presentation of their identity paper. Needed information about the person • name, forenames • the year and the day of his birth • the names and the forenames, dates and places of birth of the mother and father.
Copy without filiation of birthcertificate Delivered at any requester Needed information • the name, the forenames of the person, • the year and the day of the birth.
Request by mail Yes, but you have to write down all the informations that we need and you have to join a postmarked envelope.
Complete copy of the mariage certificate Delivered at the person who made the request, their parents, their children over 18 on the presentation of their identity paper.

|  Renouvellement d'un passeport | A.) LE PASSEPORT A RENOUVELER EST BIOMETRIQUE OU ELECTRONIQUE OU NON SECURISE MAIS VALIDE OU PERIME DEPUIS MOINS DE DEUX ANS ou LE PASSEPORT EST A RENOUVELER A LA SUITE D'UNE PERTE OU D'UN VOL D'UN PASSEPORT BIOMETRIQUE OU D'UN PASSEPORT ELECTRONIQUE OU NON SECURISE, MAIS VALIDE OU PERIME DEPUIS MOINS DE DEUX ANS
* Passeport à renouveler (à restituer à la remise du nouveau titre) ou * CNI plastifiée ou * Déclaration de perte ou de vol du précédent titre: NB: toute fausse déclaration est passible de poursuite pénales (art. 441-6 et 441-7 du code pénal) + * Formulaire de demande complété et signé (CERFA): rempli sur place * 2 photographies d'identité : certaines mairies offrent la possibilité de prise de ces photos sur place * Timbre fiscal (dans les mêmes conditions que pour une première demande -voir page 1) * Un justificatif de domicile ou de résidence (exemples : acte de propriété, contrat de location, quittance de loyer, avis d'imposition ou de non imposition, facture d'énergie ou de télécommunication, attestation d'hébergement pour les jeunes majeurs, etc... cette liste n'est pas exhaustive) * Si votre situation a changé (mariage, veuvage, changement de nom, ...), les documents officiels en attestant.
B.) LE PASSEPORT A RENOUVELER EST NON SECURISE ET PERIME DEPUIS PLUS DE DEUX ANS OU LE PASSEPORT EST A RENOUVELER A LA SUITE D'UNE PERTE OU D'UN VOL D'UN PASSEPORT NON SECURISE ET PERIME DEPUIS PLUS DE DEUX ANS
* Mêmes pièces que pour une première demande de passeport sécurisé + s'il s'agit d'un renouvellement après une perte ou un vol: * Déclaration de perte ou de vol du précédent titre: NB: toute fausse déclaration est passible de poursuites pénales (art. 441-6 et 441-7 du code pénal)
Lorsque le demandeur détient le passeport dont il sollicite le renouvellement, il devra le restituer lors de la remise du nouveau passeport
Pour les mineurs, la demande de passeport doit être présentée, en présence du mineur, par une personne exerçant l'autorité parentale (père, mère, tuteur ou autre personne exerçant l'autorité parentale) qui doit remplir et signer l'autorisation insérée dans le formulaire de demande et produire un document justifiant de sa qualité.

If the underage person lives alternately with the father and the mother: proof of domicile of both of them. * one birth certificate delivered by the town hall of the birthplace or a copy of the family record book.
The child can sign at the age of 13 and give the fingerprints.

Normally, authorisation of both parents. In case of divorce, copy of the judgement mentionning the name of the person who is responsable of the child. The demand will be done by the legal parent. Parents who aren't married has to sign each of them. |

In some cases the town hall can't deliver a certificate and in that case you have to ask at the district court of the last place where the person lived or you have to consult a notary. |
